EPDM Sponge Rubber Tape

Our EPDM sponge is manufactured with a density of approximately 120 kg/m³—higher than many standard grades, which typically range from 80–90 kg/m³. This increased density supports improved durability, dependable sealing, and enhanced resistance to environmental exposure such as ozone, UV light, and general weathering.

EPDM is a popular material choice for outdoor use due to its strong resistance to sunlight, ozone, and temperature fluctuations. These characteristics make it well-suited for long-term sealing, cushioning, and insulation in a variety of demanding environments.

Lower-cost alternatives—often made with polyethylene (PE) blends—may be suitable for light-duty or temporary applications. However, they may not offer the same consistency or performance over time, especially where more demanding conditions are involved.
