Not suitable for: Oils, fuels, solvents or aggressive chemicals; electrical insulation, conductive applications or live circuits; submerged conditions; structural fixing or safety-critical applications.

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material.
2. Measure and cut the tape to the required length using scissors or a sharp knife.
3. Remove the release liner and carefully position the tape before pressing down.
4. Apply firm, even pressure along the full length.
5. Allow the adhesive time to bond before placing the tape under compression or stress.

Always test first to confirm suitability for your surface and application. Adhesion varies with surface condition, temperature and environment — take particular care on dusty, damp, rough, porous, delicate, freshly painted, coated or high-value surfaces.

Is EPDM sponge tape suitable for outdoor use?

Is EPDM sponge tape waterproof?

Closed-cell EPDM helps resist water ingress, but the finished seal depends on compression, surface contact and installation. It should not be used as a roofing seam, flashing tape or waterproof membrane joint.

What is the difference between EPDM and neoprene sponge tape?

EPDM is generally better suited to UV, ozone and weather exposure. Neoprene is often preferred where resistance to oils and fuels is required.
