Flashback® Fluorescent UV Cloth Marking Tape is a hand tearable fluorescent cloth tape for temporary stage marking, event layouts, colour coding and visual reference marks. The fluorescent colours are bright in normal lighting and appear more vivid under a UV light or blacklight.

It has a polyethylene coated woven cloth backing with a natural rubber adhesive. The tape tears by hand and can be written on with a permanent marker, making it useful for stage positions, prop marks, equipment identification, backstage organisation and case labels.

Available in pink, green, yellow and orange in 12mm, 24mm or 48mm widths, on 25 yard (approx. 22.8 metre) rolls, held in UK stock.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this fluorescent gaffer tape?
It is a hand tearable fluorescent cloth tape that can be used for many of the jobs fluorescent gaffer or gaffa tape is used for, such as temporary stage marks, equipment identification and colour coding. Adhesion varies between surfaces, so always test before use.

Does it glow in the dark?
No. The tape is fluorescent, not photoluminescent, so it does not glow on its own. A UV light or blacklight is needed for the strongest effect, and brightness depends on the lighting used.

Can I write on it?
Yes. The surface can be written on with a permanent marker.

Will it remove cleanly?
It is intended for temporary marking, but removal depends on the surface, temperature, pressure and how long it has been applied. Adhesive residue may be left on some surfaces, particularly after long periods or in warm conditions. Always test a small, hidden area first, especially on painted, polished, coated, porous or delicate surfaces.

Can it be used on floors and stages?
It can be used for temporary reference marks on suitable clean, dry surfaces. It is not anti slip tape, permanent floor marking tape or certified safety tape. Press the edges down firmly and check marks regularly.

Will the colours fade?
Fluorescent colours can fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight or UV light, so the tape is best suited to indoor and short term use.

Important Information

Apply only to clean, dry surfaces free from dust, grease and loose material. Remove after short term use. Store rolls upright, out of direct light, at normal room temperature.

The adhesive contains natural rubber. Users with a known latex sensitivity should avoid skin contact. Not for medical use or direct application to skin.
