Product Description
Flashback® Red Glass Bead Reflective Tape is a self-adhesive reflective tape designed for general visibility marking, safety marking and outdoor identification. The red reflective surface helps improve visibility in low-light conditions by reflecting light back towards the source when illuminated by headlights, torches or other direct light sources.
Made using microscopic glass bead reflective technology, this red reflective tape is suitable for posts, gates, driveways, signs, equipment, barriers, warehouses, workshops and other hard surfaces where increased visibility is useful. It is an ungraded reflective tape for general use where formal certification, such as ECE104 or Chapter 8, is not required.
Important: This product is not ECE104 compliant and is not suitable for regulated HGV or trailer conspicuity marking. If you need reflective tape for HGVs over 7.5 tonnes or trailers over 3.5 tonnes, use approved ECE104 Reflective Tape instead.

Suitable Surfaces
This reflective tape is suitable for many clean, dry, smooth and rigid surfaces, including metal, painted metal, plastic, glass, UPVC, smooth painted surfaces, sign boards, gates, posts and general hard surfaces. Adhesion can vary depending on surface condition, texture, temperature, exposure and application pressure. Always test first if applying to painted, coated, delicate, textured or high-value surfaces.

Important Vehicle Use Note
This tape is suitable for general visibility marking, but it is not a substitute for regulated ECE104 reflective tape. For HGVs over 7.5 tonnes and trailers over 3.5 tonnes where regulated conspicuity marking is required, use approved ECE104 Reflective Tape instead.
This tape is also not Chapter 8 compliant. If you need reflective markings for highways, roadwork, traffic management or regulated vehicle use, check the relevant legal and project requirements before ordering.
Clothing Use Note
This tape is not suitable for clothing, flexible fabrics, washable garments or PPE. If you need reflective tape for clothing or fabric projects, use a sew-on reflective tape or another fabric-specific reflective product.
How to Apply
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, wax, polish or loose material.
- Cut the reflective tape to the required length, size or shape.
- Peel away the backing liner.
- Position carefully before pressing down.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the full surface of the tape.
- Pay special attention to edges and corners to help improve adhesion.
- Allow time for the adhesive to bond before heavy exposure, washing or cleaning.
- Always test first, especially on painted or high-value surfaces.
