Product Description

Our 6mm high-density EPDM sponge tape (approx. 120 kg/m³) offers durable sealing, cushioning, and vibration dampening across a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Its closed-cell structure effectively blocks air, water, dust, and UV, while the pressure-sensitive adhesive backing ensures secure bonding to clean, smooth surfaces.

At 6mm thick, this tape provides extra cushioning and compressibility — making it ideal for weatherstripping, hatch seals, sound isolation, and panel spacing in sheltered or semi-exposed environments.

Available widths: 10mm to 930mm

    • May degrade or crack at prolonged temperatures above 80°C (e.g., inside parked vehicles)

    • Not rated for electrical insulation or immersion in oil, fuels, or aggressive chemicals

    • Not for use in critical safety systems or as a replacement for certified materials

    • Always test compatibility in your specific environment before use

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does EPDM tape compare to neoprene tape?
A: EPDM sponge tape is more resistant to UV, ozone, and general weathering, making it a better long-term choice for outdoor or semi-exposed environments. Neoprene, on the other hand, performs better in oily or chemical-exposed settings like automotive and marine industries. For sealing, gasketing, and weatherproofing, EPDM is often the preferred choice — unless regular contact with petroleum-based substances is expected.
